Express Shipping Nightmare: 19 Days, No Glasses, and Uncaring Service! 😤
I have to warn you, my recent online shopping experience has been an absolute nightmare. I ordered glasses on March 30th, desperately needing them because my old pair broke, so I even paid for express 3-5 day shipping. But here I am, waiting. Day 5, still in production. Day 10, still in production. I called on Day 11 to ask for a shipping refund, and they processed it so easily, it felt like they do it all the time. But even with that, my glasses are still 6 days out on delivery, meaning it will be Day 19 or whatever and still no glasses! This entire process has made me feel like they don't give a crap about their customers. This terrible, terrible, terrible service compelled me to leave this review and try to get some answers from customer service.
Customer: "Hi, I'm calling about order [Order Number]. I placed it on March 30th and paid for express 3-5 day shipping because my old glasses broke. It's now been over two weeks, and I still don't have them. They're still showing as '6 days out' on delivery!" CS Rep: "I'm very sorry to hear about the delay with your order, I understand how frustrating it must be, especially with your old glasses being broken. Let me pull up your order for you. Can I get your order number please?" Customer: "[Order Number]. I already got a shipping refund on Day 11, but that doesn't solve the problem that I still don't have my glasses, and it’s been nearly 20 days since I ordered them! What is going on with production?" CS Rep: "Thank you. I see here that your order is indeed still in the final stages of production. There have been some unforeseen delays in our lab, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We are working to expedite it as quickly as possible." Customer: "Expedite? I needed these days ago! This is unacceptable. When can I actually expect them? I just want my glasses." CS Rep: "I completely understand your frustration. While I cannot give you an exact delivery date right now, I can mark your order as high priority for final quality checks and immediate dispatch once complete. I will also personally monitor its progress and send you an update within 24 hours. Would you like to explore other options such as a partial refund for the wait, or a store credit for future use?"
